Bread & rolls (Sun 25.04)

Bread & rolls, simple.

Ingredients.

  • 500 g white bread flour
  • 200 g wholemeal flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 20 g butter
  • 20 g fresh yeast
  • 380 g water

1. Mix the flours in a bowl,add the salt. Add the diced butter and rub in.


Mix with the water and the yeast. Used electric mixer at low speed for 3 minutes.

Turn out an knead into a ball.

Leave to rise for 40 minutes.

2. Turn out the dough.

Form half of the dough into a small loaf, the remaining part is used to form rolls (12).

Leave to rise for 1 hour.

3. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 200 C for 20 minutes, 25-30 minutes for the loaf.

Leave to cool on a wire rack.
